Visual Editing Decisions

     Introduction

Editing in film is where you adjust the shots that were taken during filming. Editing in the filming process is important for the film to give clear transitions to different scenes and make it look pleasing to the audience. When it comes to the storytelling of editing we approach it with a traditional standpoint. That being the production company logo, title, and credits. First we added a production company logo while editing, then the credits of everyone who participated, then at the end the title of our movie which we change the font style to give off a better tone of the drama in our movie. This was all thanks to our editor Eric E who could make all this possible. Even though it was little and with my inexperience with editing I still tried to help by making suggestions to Eric E like the transitions of scenes and the dialogue which will go more into depth into the next blog.
